Recent research has reported that the average actual broadband speed reaches just 49 per cent of what the speeds providers claimed in their deals and advertising to be ‘up to 8Mb’ and even more surprisingly Ofcom have claimed that the actual average speed that these companies are providing for users is only 3.6Mb.
