Intel präsentiert mit der X25-E eine auf SLCs (Single Level Cells) basierende SSD mit glänzenden Eckdaten. Bis zu 250 MB/s soll die SSD lesen können sowie 170 MByte/s schreiben. Weiter soll die Zugriffszeit bei durchschnittlich 75 Mikrosekunden liegen. Alleine diese Eckdaten lassen uns hoffen, dass das letzte Nadelöhr im aktuellen Computer verschwindet.
