Craigslist Sued For Allowing Prostitution Ads

Thomas Dart of the Cook County Sheriff Department in Illinois has sued the popular online ad site, Craigslist accusing its owner of knowingly promoting prostitution in the United States. According to Dart, CraigsList was failing to prevent offers to trade sex for money."Craigslist is an extremely unwise choice for those intent on committing crimes, since criminals inevitably leave an electronic trail to themselves that law enforcement officers will follow" a spokeswoman for CraigsList stated.
