AT&T Bending The Contract Rules for iPhone 3G Upgraders

AT&T is now "bending" the rules so to speak in order to allow non-iphone customers to upgrade to the iPhone 3G at the subsidized price points before their contract has ended. Previously, customers still under a contract would have to pay a hefty price to obtain an iPhone 3G but now AT&T is bending the rules for customers who are already 14 months into their current contract.This along with the news last week that AT&T would offer a "no commit" price of the iPhone 3G, rings too much like AT&T trying to get rid of inventory to make way for the new iPhone coming in the early Summer this year.
