I wouldn't be holding out for the Amazon Kindle 3 or as we call the Kindle Color, the CEO of Amazon said Thursday that the color version of its E-Book reader is "multiple" years away.He went on and told shareholders at the annual shareholders meeting in Seattle that he did not want to disclose how many Kindles had been sold. He also went on to say that the Color Kindle was not imminent and said he didn't "know how many years but it's years".One of the big reasons why could be the possibly that color e-readers are much slower at rendering using today's technology. In a year or two, this of course could all change. Slow rendering aside, you also have to look at the price points of a color e-book reader.
