For those around the computer this holiday weekend in the United States, Linus Torvalds has announced the seventh release candidate for the Linux 2.6.30 kernel. Linux 2.6.30-rc7 kernel brings a late driver to the kernel for the Cisco PCI-Express FCoE HBA SCSI adapter and besides that the rest of the fixes are small changes.
