Slackware has been quiet as of late, with their latest announcement being back in December when they released Slackware 12.2. It looks like they're back at it again and they've been quite busy working on something special for us all, Slackware 64-bit!The Slackware team today announced Slackware64, an official x86_64 port which will now be maintained in-sync with their regular x86 development. The Slackware team said that DVD's of the 64-bit version would be available for purchase from the Slackware store when Slackware 13.0 is released.
