Google Squared extracts data from sites and displays the results as 'squares' in an online spreadsheet format to make it easier to find the data you want. For example, if you were to search for "Small Dogs" the columns in the spreadsheet would include; names, size, weight, colors, etc with the results in the rows beneath.This sounds a lot like WolframeAlpha that we spoke of earlier this week where it generates 'specific' and detailed search data based. These type of search result formats that is soon to be offered by both Google and WolframAlpha are geared towards research of products, scientific information, and precise or targeted searches.
