Facebook Vanity URLs Coming

For the first time in the history of Facebook, the company will begin offering 'vanity URLs' with its free service to users which replaces the random digit codes. The new vanity urls are on the first come first serve basis for the 225 million users.One of the main reasons for the new vanity URLs is so that users can more easily find you. With your full name in the URL, search engines are more likely to produce your facebook page as the first result when searched for. It also makes your facebook URL much more appealing and easier to remember.
