During an interview yesterday with Fox Business Network, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt said he wasn't concerned with Microsoft's latest attempt at taking over some of the search engine market from Google and Yahoo."It's not the first entry for Microsoft. They do this about once a year," said Schmidt commenting about Microsoft's attempt to re-enter the search engine arena with something new and improved. Bing was launched on June 1st and since has gained 10% in US web searches according to ComScore. The result is probably mostly due to the 100 million dollar Bing ad campaigns and users checking out the new search engine. The real results will come in the upcoming months as users make their choice, to stay with Bing or not to stay.
