Nissan could beat GM to the market with the first mass produced electric vehicle (EV-CAR) in the United States. Nissan's newest prototype the EV-11 is built on the Versa Hatchback which provides four doors, plenty of cargo room, and can go up to 93 miles on a full charge.GM says it's Chevy Volt EV will not hit the market until late next year when it unveils its 2011 vehicles. However, if Nissan can beat GM to the market in the USA then they will have the upper-leg on the EV competition.
