Ever since its launch at the turn of the year, AMD`s Phenom II processor range has been growing at an impressive pace, with a fair amount of this growth coming from the company`s leveraging of the clock speed headroom available to these CPUs. Today sees the launch of another new quad-core Black Edition part which follows this path, bumping the clock speed of their flagship CPU up to 3.4GHz.
