Apple iPod Event Confirmed For September 9th

Apple today confirmed a special invitation-only event being held at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts Theater in San Francisco California on September 9th, 2009. This is the same location as Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference held each year and has been place that Apple has unveiled its latest and greatest new products. Invited press members received an email of the place and time that it starts as well as a graphic with a girl listening to an iPod and a caption that reads "It's only rock and roll, but we like it." which references a classic Rolling Stones song.
