Casio has unveiled its new point-and-shoot line of cameras that will be available this fall. The new Casio 12.1 megapixel Exilim EX-Z450 and EX-Z90 ultra thin point-and-shoot cameras offer advanced face detection as well as HD video and a new feature we saw unveiled earlier this year at CES. With basic point-and-shoot cameras on the market, the face detection is great when shooting people but when shooting non-human subjects like flowers, animals, and buildings for example its very inaccurate and can cause the photo to become unfocused. Casio has changed the technology behind the face detection feature so that this issue is never a problem again and when focusing on non-human subjects the photo is focused and properly exposed.
