Sony today introduced two new e-book readers, the Reader Pocket Edition which sales for $199 and the Reader Touch Edition for $299. The two new devices come at a time when the higher costs and issues with the Amazon Kindle are still on the mind of many consumers which makes a great entry point into the market by Sony with the two new ebook readers. The Sony Reader Pocket Edition has a 5-inch screen and uses the E-ink Vizplex technology for displaying the "ink" on the screen. It weighs in at only 7.7 ounces, measures 6.2 by 4.2 inches and is only 0.2 inches thick. It's small enough to fit in your pocket or a purse and makes it an on-the-go ebook reader device like we've not seen before.
