Using Your Apple iPhone To Remotely Deposit Checks

Deposit a check from anywhere in the world? We've got an app for that!Remote deposit capture at banks just keep getting better! Today USAA Bank said they would be releasing a free iPhone app that allows its customers to remotely deposit checks simply by taking a photo of the front and back of the check. After doing so, the customer can then shred the check.USAA Bank was the first financial company out of the gate with the remote check depositing application for the iPhone but I'm certain it won't be the last. Many larger banks are probably already working on new systems that will allow users of the iPhone and other phones to remotely deposit checks.
