With the release of the Intel Atom processor, Home Theater PCs (HTPC) are becoming more affordable and thus more common place. One complication in using a HTPC is how to control the system from the comfort of one’s couch. Using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse is one such system but can be rather bulky and unwieldy. Today’s review item is capable of replacing the mouse and keyboard combo with one small device that fits in the palm of one’s hand. It is the called the Navigator from a company called – GlideTV. The GlideTV Navigator works with PCs, Macs and PS3s and allows these devices to be controlled using just one thumb. It features a touchpad with core function buttons, media buttons and eight additional buttons around the perimeter of the touchpad. All these features can help reduce the need for a keyboard in the HTPC setup. So let’s take a closer look at this neat little device.
