Oracle prepares server with 16-core SPARC T3 processor

Oracle prepares server with 16-core SPARC T3 processor Server maker Oracle has announced its latest SPARC processor, dubbed SPARC T3. It will be the first processor circuit on the market sporting 16 cores. SPARC T3 will offer twice the performance of previous models in the T series and is expected to be used in 4-way servers for a total of 64 cores.
