Sony and HP have announced the creation of a 3D laptop, which requires special glasses in order to use. Now the question is: Is this a stupid idea or not? The new 3D laptop, named the Envy 17 3D, will be released in spring next year, according to Sony, so it's not anything that's a million miles away. The Envy 17 3D is capable of 1080p resolution with 240 frames per second to handle the demands of 3D output. Anyone who buys these laptops will be required to wear special glasses, like you do with 3D films. However, they say you can quickly change back to regular 2d with Sony's Black Frame Insertion.
